Reflection

Christ's Cross

Those who loved Jesus watched the cross from afar, with profound respect they raised their eyes to the Lord, crucified between to thieves. Those that accompanied Him on His path and service watched that unique scene in the history of the world from a distance, incapable of fathoming its intensity nor understanding its meaning. Same as the disciples, we remain at a distance and fearful, contemplating with respect and adoration. Only God could appreciate all the perfections of the Savior and fathom the depth of His suffering. There are those that try to analyze the suffering of Jesus, but what the word tells us is enough for us to worship Him.
