History teaches us that wars, same as the attempt to explore space, stimulated the technological advances, but man is still the same, the same passions, the selfishness, the pride, and the cruelty continue in humanity. Jesus Christ came, not to better a lost humanity, but to save those that recognize their incapacity to change themselves and place their trust in Him. The salvation that Jesus gives does not make believers better, but rather gives them new life with the power of the Holy Spirit.
