7 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Holiness in the fear of God

The Lord wants us to leave behind all sinful paths on which we have been travelling and invites us to continue on the path of righteousness and purity, to remove our old lifestyle from us and start anew.
