God showed His love by sending His Son Jesus Christ to save us. His love satisfies our greatest need, which is so great that none other can compare. If we want that proof of the love of God for us, we must look to the cross, since it was there that God gave His only Son in sacrifice for our sins. The cross is the proof of salvation and of His eternal happiness.
