As children of God we must thank the Lord for the things that are causing us problems. Those problems will build up our self-control. For we will be at the edge of rebellion and we will try to raise our fists and threaten him, but it is better not to because once we cross that line we could be dragged along by floods of rage and self-pity. The best protection against those feelings is prayer and being grateful. We must always keep that present!
