Gratitude with Family and Loved Ones

It is essential to be able to count on friends, family and relatives to remind us of all the love we hold close to our hearts. Learn in the following article how to enjoy all the benefits of having beings of light in your life right now.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

From the time we are born we need the touch of a person. We also need to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. The warmth and love of the Lord will guide us from an early age.

We are born and in a short time we are already inserted into groups, smaller or larger: family, friends, school, city, neighborhood. In these groups we grow, develop and strengthen ourselves. And also the others act as mirrors, so that we can understand ourselves better and get to know ourselves better.

Many times in these groups, the presence of the Heavenly Father can be greater or lesser. The important thing is the union that is generated between love, respect and faith.

"And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." Luke 22:19

Human beings have been evolving, acquiring different skills and abilities thanks to the spiritual and healing guidance provided by God.

Added to our social nature, to the capacity we have to meet with others, communicate, share and collaborate, we will be developing bonds and relationships with family and friends that will be unique.

We all know that human beings are not born alone and isolated: we need, from the moment we are born, specific care and even contact, affection and love in order to survive.

It is also important to interact with our spirituality, our hope, proclaiming the Faith together with other human beings. In this interaction with other people, we acquire several lessons necessary for survival and our proper personal development.

What is your interaction with the Faith in these groups? What is your role? How does the Lord's belonging make you feel in your family and friendship groups?

"But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord." Jonah 2:9

In order to feel at ease within this group, however small and small it may be, we will have to actively participate. In different ways, it always provides us with information about ourselves, by how we relate to and reflect ourselves in others, like a mirror.

All the possibilities that God gives us to be able to help these people that we really love, will help us to learn and understand who we are, how we love, what blocks we have, what we have to develop in us, or to treat.

It helps us understand why we make certain decisions and not others, and the influence others have on our behavior. How we carry forward the Word of God and its recommendations.

See how your spirituality is influenced by all the groups to which you belong: do they bring out the best in you, do they push you to be better, or are they stuck in criticism and contempt? Analyze how they make you feel, and evaluate to which group you want to dedicate your love, your energy and your time.

" Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." Colossians 3:16

We should try to heal wounds that exist in our friendships and family ties. We should be able to forgive those we truly love. Always understanding that the light and illumination of the Lord will guide us and give us the right words and moments to do so.

Pain is not to be denied: it is an opportunity to go into the inner world, to know ourselves better, getting closer to Jesus. To forgive, to accept, to love and to continue with peace and emotional balance will be the necessary conditions to be able to move forward on God's path.
