We all have different ways of reacting when someone hurts our feelings. Some may act out of anger and stay away, others may feel sad and disappointed. Some people will only feel disillusioned or confused. The truth is that it is important that whenever we commit an act that hurts others, perhaps even without realizing it, we should ask for forgiveness.
The act of asking for forgiveness will make us humbler, recognizing our mistakes and offering an apology for what happened. We were created with a great ability to decide and learn, also being compassionate with whoever has offended us will make us better Christians. The Almighty will always see our good and bad attitudes, and will reward us even when we have committed faults and take responsibility for them. Our repentance will always be possible in the Lord's grace. It is pointless to insult whoever insulted us or curse the other person maliciously, however wrong they may be, we must bring them back to the path of Our Lord God, because that is the only way. Acting vengefully will push us away from God, doing what the other person did or saying what the other said to us will not amend their mistake but rather will enhance it and make us accomplices in that sin. The repentant will enjoy divine grace as long as their feeling of redemption is genuine.
Reflections to praise and thank Our Lord for another day that's ending
